韓國奇幻神話大戲《太王四神記》的動聽配樂登上臺灣舞台! 《太王四神記》自從在臺灣播出後，不但跌宕起伏的劇情受注目，由日本音樂大師久石讓擔任監製的背景配樂，因為充分體現劇情的蒼茫氛圍，在唱片市場也開出紅盤，創下銷售佳績。臺灣國家國樂團特別邀請日籍知名編曲家櫻井弘二(Koji Sakurai)將《太王四神記》配樂改編成國樂版《太王四神記》交響詩，以鼓聲擊出沙場奔騰的氣勢，絲竹弦樂揉成時間長河，重現《太王四神記》場景，宛如輾轉於談德、琦荷、秀芝妮的命運輪迴之中。

在這場音樂會中，除了演出交響詩《太王四神記》，還推出作曲家徐堅強曾獲得2002年民族音樂創作獎銀獎的《日環蝕》，及譚盾的《火祭》。《日環蝕》裡，徐堅強運用精準而俐落的配器與聲響，描繪天體出現奇觀的神秘瞬間。《火祭》，是譚盾根據自己為電影《南京1937》的配樂重新編寫創作的中國民族拉絃樂器協奏曲。《火祭》的演奏採用了 「樂隊劇場」的演奏效果，形成了強烈的音色效果，充分烘托出樂曲豐富的表現力，以示對民族悲劇的追思、以及對人類和平的祈禱和期盼。《火祭》的二胡獨奏部份，將由當紅的二胡演奏家高韶青演出，邀您進入時間長河，聆聽自然與諸神的對話。

The enchanting incidental music from The Legend, the historical fantasy drama produced by Korea, will be staged in Taiwan. After The Legend was broadcasted in Taiwan, it captured numerous audiences’ hearts with its freaky plot; while the music produced by the Japanese maestro Joe Hisaishi was widely welcomed. The recording is sold out. NCO has commissioned the renowned music arranger Koji Sakurai to adapt the music from The Legend into the symphonic version for Chinese instruments. With the vigorous percussion and mellow strings performing, it leads the audience to pick up the scenes depicting the stories among the main characters.

In addition, Chien-Chiang Hsu’s Annular Eclipses, which garnered the silver award in the Folk Music Composition Competition in 2002, and Dun Tan’s The Rite of Fire, will be performed. Hsu employed the concise orchestration and sound effect to display the mysterious glimpse of Nature’s wonder. Dun Tan’s The Rite of Fire, which was composed for his movie Nanking, 1937, adopts the performing skills of “band theatre” and creates blasting sounds. Huang Sun, the deeply sought-after erhu soloist will feature in the solo section in The Rite of Fire.
